Tromsø is a beautiful city in the far north of Norway but is only a two-hour flight from Oslo. The city is situated on the coast at latitude 69 degrees, which is as far north as Alaska and Siberia, but enjoys a surprisingly mild climate due to the Gulf Stream. Tromsø is a lively and colourful town rich in arctic history, surrounded by the spectacular Lyngen Alps, blue fjords and hundreds of islands For more than a century, visitors have been surprised to find such culture, intellectual life and the current fashions so far north.
Visitors to Tromsø are charmed by the city’s patriotic, friendly and helpful residents and are impressed by the city centre which is full of character and home to the world’s northernmost university, botanical gardens, brewery and cathedral. , Although a visit in winter offers the chance to see the Northern Lights, during the time of the conferences, the sun will not set. There are many tourist attractions and good possibilities for excursions.
We welcome you to a new and exciting experience in the far north of the world
